In Memoriam of Denny Laine 1994 to 2023

 12/5/2023 - In recent news,  we mourn the loss of a true musical legend,  Denny Laine.  A co-founder of the Moody Blues and Wings,  Laine has left a remarkable legacy behind.

  With the Moody Blues,  his soulful voice led their hit song Go Now,  captivating audiences worldwide.  In 1971,  he formed Wings with Paul and Linda McCartney,  showcasing his guitar skills in every incarnation of the group. His collaborative creativity with McCartney birthed songs like the best-selling single, Mull of Kintyre,  a tune that still resonates in the hearts of many.

  Laine's solo career showcased his versatility and passion for music,  continuing to perform the music of Wings even after their dissolution.  Sir Paul McCartney paid a heartfelt tribute to Laine,  describing him as a great talent and a beloved friend.

Laine's passing at the age of 79 leaves behind a profound void in the world of music.  His battle with lung disease showed his courage and resilience, a testament to the indomitable spirit he carried throughout his life.
